In the state of Alabama, the penalties for committing a DUI depend on the severity of the situation. The penalties are as followed:
- 1st Offense: Mandatory Alcohol Education and Treatment PLUS a 90 days suspension of a Driver’s License.
- 2nd Offense: Mandatory Alcohol Education and Treatment PLUS a 1 Year of suspension of a Driver’s License.
- 3rd Offense: Mandatory Alcohol Education and Treatment PLUS a 3 Year of suspension of a Driver’s License.
